Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the The Bob Company mobile application operated by The Bob Co ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the app.
To use certain features of the app, you must create an account. You agree to:
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.
We offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions provide access to premium content, certifications, and other features as described in the app.
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By subscribing, you agree to their respective terms and conditions. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
All content in the app, including videos, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by The Bob Co or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without permission.
You retain ownership of content you create (such as community posts and profile information). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app.
You agree not to post content that:
Certifications earned through The Bob Company represent completion of our educational programs. While we strive to provide high-quality education, certifications do not guarantee employment, income, or professional licensing. Requirements for professional licensing vary by jurisdiction.
If you opt to list your profile in the Stylist Directory, you agree that your profile information (including name, photo, location, and specialties) will be publicly visible. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile information.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Educational content is for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from techniques learned through our content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BOB CO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Bob Co and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [State/County].
